Prohibited items may be brought into airports and to restricted airside zones, both intentionally and unintentionally, via passengers and also through airport staff. Our security teams are in charge of preventing this by supervising access to restricted areas within airports: airside service roads, warehouses, and hangars, etc.
Our security teams comply with current regulatory procedures and are proficient in operating the following equipment, amongst others: walk-through metal detectors; X-ray machines; video surveillance; and endoscope security cameras. Our security agents are also trained to carry out the following procedures; baggage and parcel searches; body searches; confiscating non-prohibited items; and random security checks.
