Security services
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialized United Nations agency, has made air transport security a priority goal. Because airports are highly sensitive zones and are greatly exposed to risks, airport security must, therefore, be watertight.
Samsic works in constant cooperation with national competent authorities to provide adapted security solutions for all airport actors and ensure that airports are safe and welcoming. Our airport security agents carry out the following security and surveillance tasks:
- Aircraft surveillance and protection: static or mobile surveillance rounds to ensure that each person who enters an aircraft is authorised; and patrol systems to monitor aircrafts, upon airline request.
- Airport terminal security: for sensitive flights; passenger flow assistance; luxury shops; fire safety, in cooperation with the airport fire department; technical airport issues; and reinforced security services in high season.
Our security agents are also trained to provide airport perimeter and airport carpark security services.
Our teams are trained to deal with large-scale disasters within the framework of an airline’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Our agents are able to immediately implement back-up procedures to facilitate decision-making and support orderly operations.
QSE CERTIFICATIONS
Samsic’s certified security services are carried out by qualified, and regularly trained, personnel. Our security agents are provided with specialized airport security training: baggage reconciliation training; Butterfly Training - Butterfly Red Badge; vehicle training; and security risk identification.
