Flight operation - De-icing

Your business operations need no longer be hindered by frost and ice: during even the most extreme weather conditions, Samsic Assistance ensures that your flights operate safely, according to schedule, 24/7. We assist you in establishing a customized snow plan, and our de-icing and anti-icing services are designed to prevent atmospheric ice from reaching dangerous levels of thickness which can ground aircraft and prevent safe take-off and landing.

Our high-tech equipment and machines allow us to manage any type of aircraft and reach the most difficult areas. We use one-man-drive vehicles to optimize human resources and offer services at the best price.

Our customers can monitor our aircraft interventions in real-time via our automated tracking system.

Our associated expertise

De-icing aircraft is a straightforward process which removes climatic pollution, snow, and frost from aircrafts by spraying them with Newtonian fluid under high pressure.

We reduce the use of chemical products by using environmentally-friendly equipment and the latest Air First technologies.

Anti-icing aircraft is a more complex procedure. Our agents are highly-skilled in handling anti-icing solution and assessing anti-icing fluid Holdover Time (HOT) to prevent ice forming on aircrafts’ critical surfaces.

Once de-icing and anti-icing operations have been completed, the aircraft is considered suitable for safe take-off.

QSE Certifications

The De-Icing/Anti-Icing Quality Control Pool known as DAQCP currently consists of about 100 member airlines and, through its active members, performs inspections on approximately 600 companies that provide de-icing/anti-icing services and post de-icing/anti-icing checks at more than 300 airports worldwide. Samsic Assistance obtained the DAQCP certification in 2019.
